Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power...this verse came to me this morning and the rest of the verses that follow in Ephesians 6:10-18. They’re memorized, hidden in my heart. These verses and other similar verses have been what I’ve been in need of for the past 2 months and actually the past year!! .

If I were to tell you what has happened just in the past 2 weeks you wouldn’t believe it! But....
.
.
I always start my day with what I call “quiet time”. A time alone with God, my Bible, devotional, pen, and paper and coffee 😊 in a specific place of quiet every morning even if I have to get up extra early just to be able to do so. .
.
You see, it’s THAT valuable to me. It’s “that” important, necessary, vital, crucial of an appointment that I’m not going to miss! .
.
I believe that I wouldn’t be having peace amidst the downpour of this seemingly endless storm had I not been keeping this daily appointment with my Savior and Lord Jesus! I have been overwhelmed, down, depressed and many times I have screamed out loud in frustration!! Yet.....
.
.
During my “quiet time” I thank God for how He has blessed me and the list is long! So, I say as David said in Psalms 42 and 43:5: “Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will praise him, my Savior and my God”!!👏🏻👏🏻😊
